Energy Co-op’s Ireland will be holding a public meeting in Mullingar on Wednesday 10th October.
The meeting will discuss the various widely publicised plans of large multinational consortia to build over 10GW (10,000MW) of wind farm capacity in the Irish midlands for export to the UK grid by .
At the meeting Energy Co-operatives Ireland will be looking for partners for a Midlands Co-op that will ensure that the resources of the Irish Midlands will provide real dividends for the residents of the Irish Midlands.
The meeting to be held from 8pm in the Mullingar Park Hotel is open to all.
